- Abstract
- Strength characteristics of glass-fiber resins being strengthened by multiwall carbon nunotubes (a hybrid nanocomposite) are presented. Profiles products are manufactured on a plant pultrusion machines at the Ltd Glass-fiber resins production Plant in Stupino. Basis of material was roving from a glass-filament E10-80-76EN and epoxy resin DER 331, modified with multiwall carbon nunotubes (MWCNT). The MWCNT manufacture technology and technology of adding them in epoxy resin are developed in the Ltd Nanocomposite. Strengthening effect is much dependent on MWCNT content in composite. MWCNT addition less 0.1 % mass gives strength and modulus elasticity increase up to 50 %, a simultaneous increase in impact elasticity up to 15 % is observed.
