- The value of a superficial layer in reliability and durability of details of machines is considered; the urgency of nondestructive control of their surface is shown. The design, a principle of work, technical characteristics, an application scope in nondestructive testing of details of machines of the new automated device of measurement of a contact potential difference "Surface-11" over the dynamic condenser is stated.
