- Abstract
- An improved approach to fluid simulation using the Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) method with GPU compute shaders is presented. An analysis of existing solutions is carried out, and their limitations in terms of performance and compatibility are identified. The implementation architecture is described, focusing on minimising data transfer between the CPU and GPU. Experimental results comparing CPU and GPU implementations are presented. The high efficiency of the proposed method for the development of cross-platform real-time fluid simulation systems is demonstrated.
