- Abstract
- The article examines the features of using biometric terminal equipment when interacting with a unified biometric system in accordance with new legislative requirements. A new biometric endpoint solution was piloted to meet current regulatory requirements. Current problems of using biometric terminal equipment in scenarios of commercial biometric systems are formulated. It has been established that today there are no biometric terminals that are fully protected according to the new requirements. During the experiment, the required protection class "KS1" was achieved on the terminal equipment as part of the test stand of the biometric system. A method for achieving the required level of protection for a new type of terminal equipment - a biometric terminal - is described, and additional comprehensive measures for information protection are proposed that can the protection class "KS2".
