- Abstract
- A detailed retrospective of cybersecurity problems in aviation was carried out. The evolution of aircraft communications systems and the corresponding increase in cyber vulnerabilities are studied. The integration of digital technologies into on-board networks is discussed, considering the nature and sources of potential cyber threats - both internal and external, both active and passive. Strategies for responding to information security incidents are reviewed and the importance of prioritizing network security in the design of future aviation data communications systems is highlighted. There is a growing need for robust cybersecurity measures in the aviation industry. An attacker model is presented that is useful for analyzing possible attack vectors on an aircraft data network. A scheme for systematizing attacks according to four indicators is presented, which can be used in practice.
