- Abstract
- The article analyzes the main advantages of blockchain technology and features of their application. It is shown that considering blockchain technologies from the point of view of a mathematical structure for storing data with a high level of security, a wide area of innovative application in various fields is possible. The features of the "smart contract" technology implementation are briefly considered from the point of view of its use to ensure security and automate transactions. The main attention is paid to distributed information and design systems. New use cases for blockchain have been proposed that differ from their non-blockchain counterparts and provide transparency, security and ease of use. This article is devoted to the analysis of the advantages and problems that arise when using blockchain for developing Industry 4.0 applications. In addition, this article provides a detailed overview of the most relevant blockchain applications for Industry 4.0 technologies. The article proposes a methodology for Industry 4.0 application developers, which allows the use of blockchain tools to improve cybersecurity industrial applications.
