- Abstract
- The article presents the results of numerical modeling and mechanical tests of fracture of a compact specimen of type 3, made of a model Wood's alloy under eccentric tension. It was found that the values of the breaking load and the stress intensity factor at the apex of the wedge-shaped section revealed by the results of numerical and physical modeling have satisfactory convergence.
