- Abstract
- The aim of this paper is to simulate the artificial moment of inertia. A device with an artificial moment of inertia can be used instead of massive flywheels for orienting spacecraft. Its attractive feature for these purposes is the non-equivalence of artificial inert and "natural" gravitational masses. At the same time, an artificial inert mass can significantly exceed the "natural" gravitational one.
