- Abstract
- This article considers the problem of choice of controlled nodes in the intrusion detection system, and also gives the overview of existing approaches and the works related to the field of research. The task of searching the optimal set of network nodes, which are connected to sensors, is the most critical step in configuring the distributed IDS, which is characterized by a large number of sensors located throughout an enterprise network that has a centralized event analyzer. The works considered in the review, allow to identify possible approaches to the solution of the problem and assess the degree of scrutiny of the subject.
