- The authors of this article have tried to carry out a short analysis of the current condition of the main tendencies and prospects in the international arms trade market. The geopolitical, economic, ethical and law aspects of this problem are considered. In addition its close connection with the problem of maintaining peace and international security. The arms trade is an important factor of geopolitical confrontation on the international area, so the successful penetration of various countries on the world market allows you to use your position in this field in order to achieve geopolitical interests. The material includes information about the participation of the Russian Federation in the arms and weapons trade on the international market, as well as an analysis of the structure of the arms market.
