- Abstract
- The basic principles and characteristics of two-stage air flow detritiation system with using ceramic high-porous block-cellular catalysts for hydrogen oxidation and contact devices for the process of hydrogen isotopes phase exchange are presented. On the base of data on the observed rate constant, gas-dynamic resistance, the activation energy in the reaction of hydrogen oxidation on platinum and palladium ceramic catalysts it was given their comparison with industrial granular catalyst JM (Johnson Matthey). The efficiency of the phase isotope exchange on high-porous ceramic block-cellular mass-transfer contact devices, similar in structure with ceramic high-porous block-cellular catalysts, was compared with data obtained on imported nozzle CY-type by Sulzer Chemtech. According to results of research of the hydrogen conversion and phase isotope exchange between vapor of tritiumed water and natural water made a preliminary calculation of the experimental system of two-stage air detritiation.
