- This article gives a clear definition of a term "document" and examines certain attributes that transform a text, an image, the automated data processing means or any kind of information (including information in non- legible form which is kept on magnetic type or any other non- legible format) into a document. It also examines the way the electronic signature protects the integrity of the electronic document and gives it a legal force.
