- Abstract
- The discretionary access control in the computing systems is considered in this article. The systems in which permission representation differs from access matrix are analyzed. The situations in which conversion to the access matrix is possible or impossible are allocated. We have demonstrated that security subsystem of the Microsoft Windows operating system cannot be converted to the access matrix directly.
